Our PTO apparel and used uniform program has generated more than $5,000 in support for our school while helping families access affordable school apparel. By offering online shopping, orientation sales, and in-person shopping opportunities throughout the year, we've made it easier than ever for families to show their school spirit while supporting PTO initiatives.

The PTO partnered with a mobile planetarium provider to bring an immersive, hands-on learning experience directly to our students. Through interactive presentations and guided exploration, students had the opportunity to learn about space, astronomy, and science in a fun and engaging environment that sparked curiosity and excitement for learning.

The PTO invested in our Aftercare Program by purchasing new games, art supplies, and enrichment materials for students to enjoy throughout the year. These additions provide more opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning while helping create a fun, engaging environment after the school day ends. The new resources support both structured activities and free play, enhancing the overall experience for students participating in aftercare.

Parent involvement has been one of our greatest successes. Families stepped forward in record numbers to support events, classroom activities, teacher appreciation efforts, morning carline, fundraising initiatives, and special projects throughout the year.

The PTO's Charleston Wrap Fundraiser was a tremendous success, with students and families selling 1,011 items and raising more than $7,000. These funds directly support student programs, campus improvements, and PTO initiatives that enhance the St. Mary's experience for everyone.

We launched a new PTO Spirit Shop, providing families with convenient access to school-branded apparel and accessories while creating an ongoing source of fundraising revenue to support PTO programs.

Students enjoyed a memorable Gingerbread Day experience made possible through volunteer support and community sponsorships. This special event brought holiday excitement and hands-on activities to students while strengthening our school community.

Thanks to the generosity of our families, we celebrated our teachers and staff through holiday gifts, special recognition, and a staff Christmas celebration to show appreciation for the dedication they bring to our students every day.

The PTO organized and supported volunteers to assist with morning carline operations, helping ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming start to each school day. By streamlining student drop-off, teachers are able to spend more time preparing their classrooms, lessons, and materials before students arrive, creating a smoother and more productive start to the day for everyone.

The annual PTO Golf Tournament generated more than $10,700 in revenue and nearly $5,700 in profit. The event brought together families, sponsors, and community supporters while raising funds to directly benefit our students.

The PTO hosted our first Valentine's Family Dance, creating a fun and memorable evening for students and families. The event was filled with music, dancing, refreshments, and opportunities for our school community to connect outside the classroom.

Students participated in a hands-on STEAM learning experience featuring interactive exhibits, robotics, engineering activities, virtual reality, programmable technology, and scientific exploration. The event brought exciting educational opportunities directly to our campus.

The Speakeasy Mystery Gala became one of the most successful fundraising events in school history. More than 120 attendees participated in an immersive evening of entertainment, fellowship, and fundraising that generated over $24,000 in net proceeds to support St. Mary's School programs and initiatives.

The PTO transformed an underutilized room into a dedicated Student Work Lounge by deep cleaning the space, professionally cleaning the carpets, and purchasing new furniture. This new area provides students and staff with an additional space for studying, collaboration, and small group activities.

The PTO remains committed to transparency and accountability. Through quarterly updates, financial reporting, and regular communication, families can see how funds are raised, allocated, and invested to support our students, teachers, and school community.

Strong participation in PTO dues and membership has allowed us to expand programming, fund school initiatives, and provide meaningful support to students and teachers throughout the year. Our 8th grade class had an ice cream party for 100% paid PTO dues. 

The PTO helped fund the purchase of 114 new Chromebooks for student use, providing improved access to technology and digital learning resources. This investment supports classroom instruction, enhances learning opportunities, and ensures students have the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven educational environment.

The PTO funded the installation of new energy-efficient lighting in the Carter Hall classrooms, creating brighter, more comfortable learning environments for students and teachers. This upgrade improves visibility, enhances the classroom experience, and supports a more modern and efficient learning space for years to come.

The PTO funded upgrades to the 25-year-old sound system hardware in St. Angela Hall, improving audio quality and reliability for school assemblies, performances, presentations, and special events. This investment helps ensure students, staff, and families can fully enjoy and participate in the many activities hosted throughout the year.

The PTO provides funding for classroom resources, instructional materials, technology, and other educational needs that directly support teachers and enhance the learning experience for students across all grade levels.

Thanks to the support of our families through PTO apparel sales and fundraising efforts, the PTO purchased brand-new recess balls and playground equipment for student use. These new resources encourage active play, teamwork, and healthy recreation while helping create a more enjoyable recess experience for students across all grade levels.
